Plan Your Visit
Inveraray Jail is open all year and is one of the most versatile museums in Scotland. We cater for individual visitors, group visits and educational visits, and are very much oriented for the perfect family day out.
Spend hours reliving the past on a journey through Scotland's crime and punishment system that will both entertain and educate. Individual visitors will enjoy exploring at their leisure, but the experience is made all the more fun when shared with friends or colleagues.
You can even book a
private tour and, if you’re brave enough, join us on a
ghost hunting night.
